Well many know me as Harouth and some know me as Arthur and some even know me as just ‘that guy who does design stuff’. I am an 19 year old self taught designer currently living and studying in the United Kingdom as a prospective architect. I am ethnically Armenian, born and raised in Lebanon, lived the last couple of years in Thailand and now reside in UK where I am recieving my degree.

My story might sound a bit cliche but I have had an interest for everything visual since I was a kid and I developed a huge love for computers since I got my first computer back in the year 2000. Having had the chance to interact with several designers through one way or another as a kid I quickly developed an interest in computer generated graphics, Photoshop and etc. Next step was to get a copy of Photoshop and start fiddling around with it using some great online resources to help me out .

By 2008 I developed a set of basic skills which allowed me to start working on some personal projects. After a while I got a lot of feedback that my work was actually good enough to be sold commercially. Although I did not believe that in the beginning, I was proven wrong when I put myself on the market and actually got some orders. After a while I realized I needed an identity to present myself and that’s when ArtinGraphics came along. The name Artin is a tribute to my grandfather.

So that’s how I ended up as a freelance designer mainly doing print works but at the same time having some experience in web based design. While finishing off my degree in Architecture I am looking into actually getting a legitimate qualification as a designer because it is something that I love and I am not prepared to stop designing anytime soon so you will be seeing me around for a while. I hope you enjoy the variety of works I have displayed here.
